The Coming New World: The World of AI
See, neither I nor you nor any force in the world can stop AI from developing. Just like when technology came earlier, many jobs were lost, many things happened, and we all witnessed it. When computers replaced many jobs with their functions, we understood that this is inevitable. Similarly, AI will replace many things as technology did. However, this time, the technology is so powerful that you can't even imagine it. Because it is being developed in such a way that it has the ability to think independently—not consciously, but it can train itself and improve by utilizing the information stored in its memory. It can even answer questions on its own, which is, in a sense, a form of independent thinking.
No force in the world can stop this. It will do almost everything. Only a few areas will require human intervention; otherwise, AI will handle 90-99% of tasks. The first thing is to accept this reality—AI is coming, and it’s already here, and it's progressing rapidly. Understand that if you're still in denial thinking that not much will change, then you're still unaware of how dangerous this truly is. When AI was invented, even Elon Musk and others said that AI is extremely dangerous, and it's here and already well-developed. For example, content creation has almost vanished, and blogging jobs are no longer needed, as you can simply ask AI to write for you. Image and video generation will also be fully automated in the coming years, and many such tasks are being replaced or will be soon.
How Should We Prepare?
At this moment, the first thing is to learn how to use AI at a basic level, such as in engineering. Even more importantly, you need to know how to use AI creatively, which means learning to utilize it effectively for your tasks. However, understanding AI means grasping how various technologies are being used, such as Python or other AI languages like ML (Machine Learning). These are essential if you want to do something significant in the future.
If your only goal is to survive, then learning basic AI usage might be enough. But if you don't know how to use AI at all, you will face unemployment in the coming time. On the other hand, if you know how to use AI effectively, not just for yourself but also for companies, your demand will increase. You will be able to create something, and the most crucial skill that must remain within us is creativity.
Understand that AI cannot replace creativity because AI can only think based on the information already fed into it. It can connect existing data but cannot think beyond that. Now, I'm still somewhat confused or unsure whether AI will eventually replace creativity, as it might because, in the end, everything is just information. All the games revolve around information—our minds also store information, just like AI does. So, what’s the difference between us and AI?
For now, I’ll just say that AI is coming, and we must stay aware of it. We need to learn how to use it. At least learn to utilize its full potential.
As for which tasks will be replaced by AI, you can already see that happening. You can also predict what else will be replaced since it’s all just information. Understand this, and you should aim to create something that is effective and fast by using AI.
That’s all for now. Thank you!
