How to Take Great Care of Yourself in a Way That Sets You Apart.

Many people think that taking care of themselves means just exercising – a bit in the morning, a bit in the evening, and that’s enough. But if we’re being honest, does that really make your health better? Let’s consider the ratio: if you’re sitting for five hours straight, can one hour of exercise make up for it? It won’t, right? So today, we’re going to dig deep into how you can truly take care of your health, in a way that keeps your body functioning at its peak.

Whenever you think of health, a goal naturally pops up in your mind. It’s because we tend to work better when we have a goal in mind, and the same applies to health. What’s the goal of good health? It’s fitness. And if we go even deeper, it’s about reaching the innermost level of human capacity – achieving the highest energy and fitness levels, filled with vitality. But what’s the purpose? So that your life becomes better. You see, health is connected to your life. When your health is good, everything else in your life automatically improves.

Sleep: The Foundation of Good Health
First, let’s talk about sleep. Some people might say that sleep isn't that important, that work matters more, and that one can function with less sleep. But be honest with yourself – is sleep really unimportant? Think about it: when you sleep well and deeply, how do you feel when you wake up? Refreshed, right? So clearly, sleep is helping your body recover. It’s essential for your body’s parts to function properly. But that doesn’t mean you should sleep excessively either – everything has a balance.

Just like how you charge your phone only to its capacity and not beyond 100%, sleep also has its limits. Science can tell you exactly how many hours you need to sleep, but what’s important is that you sleep well. The right amount of good-quality sleep will do wonders for you.

Exercise: More Than Just a Routine
Now, how much exercise should you do, and when? There’s no strict rule about this, but let’s clear up a common myth: exercising in the morning is considered good because your body is fresh and full of energy after sleep. But that doesn’t mean a morning workout will fix all your health problems.

If you’re sitting for five or six hours straight and think that one hour of morning exercise will make up for it, you’re mistaken. Your health should not be divided into time slots. Health is part of your lifestyle. Your body is made to move – not just sit still for hours. So, incorporate small activities throughout your day. For example, if you’re working at a desk, take 10-minute breaks to stretch or do simple yoga poses. Your body was designed for movement, and it’s foolish to force it to stay still for too long.

Health Is a Mindset
Your health also depends on your mindset. The problem is that we often don’t value what we have. Right now, you may have good health, so you don’t value it much. But the day you’re bedridden, with your body aching, you’ll realize how precious your health was. So start questioning your thoughts about health and understand its true value. Health doesn’t happen on its own – you need to maintain it. If you take care of your health, it will work wonders for you, but if you ignore it, you’ll face the consequences.

Think about what you could lose if you don’t take care of your health – financial losses, relationship problems, and more. Health isn’t just about avoiding illness; it’s about achieving the highest level of energy and fitness. To do this, you need to plan – dedicate one or two hours a day to exercise. Now, some might say they don’t have time, but come on, there are 24 hours in a day. If you can’t spare two hours for your health, then you need to rethink your priorities.

Connect with Nature
One simple but powerful thing you can do is spend time in nature. I do this myself, and it has a huge impact on my health. Just 15 to 20 minutes sitting in nature, doing nothing – no phone, no distractions – just observing the sky, the birds, and the trees. This small habit can have a big impact on your health.

That’s all for now. We’ll meet again soon. Thank you!
