Focus on Multiple Things
Introduction
In life, you will need to do many tasks, meaning you will have to try out various things to see what works and what doesn't. Understand that this is slightly different from the usual advice you hear, like focusing all your attention on one task and ignoring everything else. No, when it’s not the right time, you have to recognize that every situation is different. Today’s time is different.
Focus on Multiple Things
Depending solely on one task and thinking that you’ll succeed just by focusing entirely on it is one of the biggest mistakes you can make. You don’t know what the future holds, so you’ll have to try different things if you really want to increase your chances of success. What do I mean by trying different things? The more tasks you undertake, the more the results will compound.
Treat Everything Like a Project
Consider whatever you're doing as a project. Always keep your mind in order and bring your thinking in order. Treat everything as a project. For instance, right now, I have three or four projects related to work that I am learning about, not just working on. But remember, it’s not about increasing the number of projects; it’s about working on them and seeing if they are yielding results.
Evaluate and Scale
If the outcome isn’t good, you need to stop and adjust it. Otherwise, think about how to scale it. You need to understand things like this. The work you’re doing – how many tasks are you handling? The law of the universe is cause and effect. Whatever you are doing will have some effect.
Question Everything
Don’t believe everything blindly. Just because something was relevant 10 years ago doesn’t mean it’s relevant today. Focusing entirely on one task is not always necessary. You should only focus on one thing when you start seeing results, and you are sure about them – not just by gut feeling but based on facts and reality.
Test, Observe, and Adapt
Until you know what’s going to happen, there’s no point in focusing all your energy in one direction. You have to divide your energy and see what works best. Only when you crack something that seems like it can grow on a large scale in the future should you focus entirely on it.
Business Perspective
From a business perspective, you have to test different products to see which one fits the market. Only then will you invest more money and launch it fully. Similarly, in life, you must see which task works best for you. It should meet three criteria: it should yield results, it should have potential for growth, and you should enjoy doing it.
The Importance of Enjoyment
What’s the point of working on something that doesn’t have enough potential to grow or something you don’t enjoy? You need to take care of everything while remembering that something will always be left behind. But the key is not to lose everything. You need to pay attention to your work, health, relationships, and every aspect of life if you really want to improve your life.
The Goal of Life
The goal has never been just to acquire things because the desire to acquire has no limit. It’s about improving the quality of life, which means focusing on your thoughts and what you want to achieve in life. That’s why you need to focus on the process because life itself is a process.
The Reality of Life
When you start focusing on life, you’ll understand the game of this world, and living will become something else entirely. You’ll be connected to a reality that isn’t just for you but for the whole world. Just like the air we breathe is a reality for everyone, some realities are undeniable. When you face such a reality, the experience will be beyond words.
Conclusion
That’s all for now. Thank you.
