How to completely free yourself from your thoughts? 




Reaching a state of being completely free from thoughts is a totally different state of mind. When looked at in reality, in other words, this is not a simple thing because thoughts are the basic nature of the mind. Just like how can we breathe without oxygen or live without air, the mind cannot function without thoughts. Its basic nature is such. So, to achieve freedom from thoughts, you need to understand the status of awareness, which is actually less. What I mean by completely being aware is accepting yourself as you are. When you start seeing things as they are without any attachment, then you can actually become free. By 'attachment,' I mean emotionally attaching yourself to every thought. When any thought comes, observe it without any attachment. You'll notice that the speed of your thoughts slows down and they start decreasing in your mind. When you realize that you are not your thoughts and you're able to detach yourself from them, that's when you start becoming free. 


Now, let's discuss meditation. Meditation means observing what is actually happening and what you are. What I mean is that you're not your thoughts or feelings, but something beyond that which will remain even after everything else is gone. So, when a thought arises based on your past memories or experiences, understand that it doesn't hold any meaning because you are not your thoughts. When you try to observe your thoughts, you'll see that their speed decreases and they become lighter. 


Let's try to understand this in a different way. Imagine that you're sitting somewhere and someone speaks 'hello.' Now, if you remove the person who spoke and only let the sound remain, it becomes just a sound, a part of the environment. Similarly, when you remove the meaning associated with the sound from your mind, it becomes just a sound, a part of the source. So, everything is left behind, and only stillness remains. 


To achieve this stillness, you need to introspect and observe reality as it is, without complicating or twisting it. Understand the basic nature of your mind, which is to produce thoughts, but realize that you are beyond those thoughts.
